Part of my role as Director of Innovation Strategy at Hearst was to consult on high-level sales meetings and produce unique content marketing programs for our clients that could also be approved by our highly critical editorial team.

The most successful content marketing program I developed was “VisionSF”, a competition recognizing visionary leaders who have made a difference in the Bay Area and beyond. The program was sold to title sponsor St. Mary’s College and presenting sponsor City National Bank as a unique, first-to-market opportunity. Capitalizing on the revenue success, the San Francisco Chronicle has continued to offer this sponsored program to advertisers. Learn more about the inaugural program here.
