Part of my role as Director of Innovation Strategy at Hearst was to consult on high-level sales meetings and produce unique content marketing programs for our clients that could also be approved by our highly critical editorial team.

The most lucrative content marketing program I developed was “VisionSF”, a competition recognizing visionary leaders who made a difference in the Bay Area and beyond. This multi-faceted program included a high-impact content series and culminated in a live award ceremony at SFJAZZ in San Francisco, bringing together industry leaders and key stakeholders. The program was sold to title sponsor St. Mary’s College and presenting sponsor City National Bank as a unique, first-to-market opportunity. Capitalizing on the revenue success, the San Francisco Chronicle has continued to offer this sponsored program to advertisers.
